How can conveyancers be more efficient with the post-completion process?

With around 1.5 million property transactions completing in England and Wales every year, one of the most vital conveyancing tasks to be fulfilled is post-completion documentation filing with HM Land Registry (HMLR).

Since the paper AP1 form was phased out from November 2022, the only way to submit applications for changes to registered titles is via the Electronic Document Registration System (eDRS). This digital process guides users through the necessary steps to creating and sending an AP1 application, and connects with existing Land Registry information to intelligently pre-populate data fields.

How can eDRS help conveyancers be more efficient with the post-completion process?

  • No re-keying of information by automatically pre-populating data
  • Fewer requisitions
  • Seamless transactions
  • Stay compliant – and on time
  • Easily collaborate with colleagues
